"I don't have to tell them what to do," says Ray about MKL.Net in Bainbridge.  "I was looking for a capable ISP who could host and maintain the site without charging an arm and a leg and me having to spoon feed them everything." -- MKL.Net's owner, Joe Hernandez, is a motorcycle enthusiast, member of the local American Spirit Motor Cycle Club.  His wife and motorcycle buddy Helen maintains the site.  E-mail her if you have some ideas or suggestions for improvement.

Dana LaCroix

Singer/songwriter, Dana LaCroix, will be hosting this year’s Ice Cream Run  for Kids’ Sake on Saturday, July 29th. The music starts at 3:00 in the
afternoon and will feature some great local and regional bands, ranging from blues and hard rock to heavy metal.

“Dana LaCroix is one of those rare artists that you never want to take out of your CD player. She touches your every emotion,” said Doug Decker of WSRK radio in Oneonta after attending a recent concert.

LaCroix’s new album is currently being recorded at Pilot Studios in Manhattan. The record will feature her original songs, some of which have also been showcased in the feature film, “Fear X”, and on major label  releases including, most recently, “Halfway Home” by Dutch pop singer, Hind.

In May of this year, Dana and her band performed a concert at The Soccer Hall Of Fame in Oneonta. Pamela Frutiger, Program and Events Manager for the Soccer Hall said,

“It was great to have Dana perform at the Soccer Hall Of Fame. The music appealed to a crowd spanning from 7 to 70-year-olds and they all walked away happy and well-entertained. It was a terrific night and we hope to have her
back soon.”

This summer Dana LaCroix and her band will appear at: The Otsego Lake Festival in Cooperstown, Sat. Aug 26th, 4:30 pm; Music on Main St. in Canajoharie, Tues. Aug 8th, 7:30 pm; and Music in the Village in Hunter, Sat. Aug 19th, 3:00 pm.
